This is to inform you of the newsletter for March 2024 that has been sent to residents living close to our 318a White Hart Lane site.
The newsletter contains the latest update on the construction work that is being carried out on site and details of upcoming works. It also provides the details of a "Meet the Contractor" event that will take place on Thursday 28 March 2024.
Alexander James have issued a letter introducing themselves to residents as the new contractor who will be completing the works on 6 new council homes situated at 318a White Hart Lane.
This is to inform you of an update letter for December 2023 that has been sent to residents living close to our 318a White Hart Lane site.
The letter outlines the project that's building 6 new council homes with a communal garden to the rear and that we have identified a new contractor to complete the works at 318a White Hart Lane. We are pleased to confirm that Alexander James Ltd has been appointed to complete the homes.
Alexander James Ltd have recently been onsite conducting preliminary works and investigative surveys. The construction works to complete the new homes will likely commence during the second week of January 2024. The anticipated date for the completion of the homes is late summer 2024.
This is to inform you of an update letter for April 2023 that has been sent to residents living close to our 318a White Hart Lane site.
The letter outlines the project that's building 6 new council homes with a communal garden to the rear.
The letter explains that, whilst good progress had been made in building the new homes, the contractor building the new homes has informed the council they are no longer able to complete the project on the timescale and within a budget which the council felt was acceptable. As a result, the council is now actively seeking a new contractor to complete the works.
This does mean that while the site will remain hoarded, no further construction work or activity will be taking place in the immediate future. The council will update residents before any further work takes place. We will ensure the site is regularly checked by our team and that it is kept secure and tidy.
